The final week of term has arrived and we have a lot to do before we say goodbye for the break. As you can no doubt see from the images above, we all had a great day at the Multicultural Food Fair and Fun Day. Thank you to Mrs Murphy for a wonderful day!
After many weeks of hard work on multiplication, we will finally sit the test tomorrow. As so many of you are in swim scheme, we will not start until you get back after recess. So make sure to enjoy your swim!
The scarecrow is going to be built tomorrow and I will need all of you to be ready to work hard. We are already behind the other classes and I am not going to lose this competition like we did the last one. So let’s get it together and show the rest of stage 3 just how good we really are!
I am so impressed with your public speaking efforts over the past weeks. You have all grown so much and I am really struggling to whittle the field down to 8. Remember, only the top 8 will go through to the semi-finals next term. Those who qualify will have the holidays to prepare their speeches.
Our documentary on our state, school and suburb is almost at an end. It has been awesome to see so many groups working well together on the computers. Let’s hope it all comes together nicely in the end.

100 Word Challenge

Le Guin We ask children to write in school but often there is no apparent purpose that they can see other than pleasing their teacher! This can prompt some very reluctant writers in our classrooms. The 100 Word Challenge seeks to address this problem.

im just lying down on my bed and reading a book i read 3 books already!
and im nearly finish this one
so thats 4
its so fun
im going to read a book everyday
ive got more fun stuff at my home like monopoly, chess and a midum size swimming pool
i dont want chess and monopoly
i want to go in the swimming pool but its getting dark
not even tomorrow cause i dont want to splash and make a big mess
and i dont want to get wet
so the most fun est thing in my room that i want to do is reading
my brother is having lots of fun play on the computer and watching TV
my sister is doing her homework and doing something in the computer
my mum was cooking and now shes resting
my dad is reading a book and now hes doing something in the computer
and you know im reading a book

Hi guys,

Mr E you didn’t send me about the topic to and i brought my homework book over the holidays and i finished 2 units alrieady!!! My aunt had a baby and his name is Jacob but we can call him Jake.My Pen Pal Tia Lynn hasn’t replied to me more than once!!! :C Write after this comment i am going to enter my hawian area final on duck life 2.Tomorrow i am going to my cousins Birthday Party with my family.On Monday i might sleep over my cousin lucaus is house or Jimmy’s. Tomorrow morning i am going to practice all the words on spelling city.Next i would Play on Studdyladder and check on my garden.At 12:45 i have to water the tulips at my back porch with my sisters.At 12:50 i have to talk to my penpal about pollution and how it’s destroying the Great Barrier Reef.Then at 1:25 i get ready for the Party.
